So, We have had a crazy last few weeks. I'm sure someday we'll look back and laugh at what all went wrong in the summer of 2010. As for right now, i dont think its very funny, and neither does my bank account.
It all started 3 weeks ago, I went to put the blinds (less than a year old....) up in the kitchen and the string broke, causing the blinds to break. Not a big deal....I figured since they were still hanging and looked normal (I just can't put them up anymore) that i would just leave them that way for a while, til i wanted to spend $145 on new wooden blinds.
2 days later, I was warming up food in the microwave (less than 5 years old) when it started to make a crazy noise like it was going to explode. I still have no idea what went wrong with it, but Nick did some research on fixing it, and it was pointless to try and fix, might as well buy a new one. So, over the range microwave was on my list of things to buy, along with blinds.

We go out of town for the weekend to DM. On our way home sunday Nick calls his dad to see how things were with the dog. His dad informs him that our dishwasher (which was not running at all while we were gone) had flooded our kitchen. I dont know how old the dishwasher was, but i'm guessing around 6 or 7 years. That was also unfixable....so, add dishwasher to the list.

At this point, i figured nothing else could go wrong? Right?
The next day I was eating an apple and part of one of my molar teeth cracked off.....it hurt sooo bad, i figured i did it on the apple and that a nerve was exposed or something. So I painfully wait til the next day when the dentist could get me in. It turns out thati didnt chip my tooth on the apple, my tooth had cracked because of the pressure of my wisdom tooth that is now coming it. I'm 27 and my wisdom teeth are now showing up? So.....I'll be getting my wisdom teeth out next friday. 3 wisdom teeth, plus that tooth that was crakced in half will be pulled. It wouldnt be so bad, if our insurance covered getting wisdom teeth out. UGH!
Well, we are now proud owners of a stainless steal dishwasher and over the range microwave. They look a little out of place with our white fridge and stove, but i figure with our luck, those will die soon too, so we might as well upgrade it all. Blinds are still not fixed....they can wait. Teeth come out next friday.
We thought all of the bad luck was finally over.....until nick went to start our lawn mower last night and it wouldnt start....not out of gas....no idea whats wrong with it. SERIOUSLY????? I give up!!!
